Dr. Beckstead completed her medical school and family medicine training at the University of Calgary. Since graduation, Dr. Beckstead has gained experience practicing in a wide variety of clinical settings with diverse focuses including general practice, underserved patient populations, after hours care, and mental health. Dr. Beckstead is passionate about all areas of general practice, including special interests in women’s health and mental health.

 She believes strongly in preventative health care and loves working with patients to realize their health goals. When she’s not working, she’s keeping busy with two young children and a giant dog. She loves playing guitar, running, hiking, cycling, and anything to do with the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
